Gixo can performed anywhere! Including indoors and on the treadmill.
The only requirement is that your mobile has good cell phone reception so we can have a quality connection. Gixo is LIVE and we stream and collect data throughout the workout.
Some of the workouts include cardio segments. During these cardio segments we can determine your pace, speed, and elevation change ONLY if you are performing cardio outdoors and moving (we use GPS coordinates to determine these metrics). Running on a treadmill is perfectly acceptable, but the data in the app will not reflect the accurate amount of distance, pace, etc. Let your coach know you are performing the workout indoors and he/she will provide some alternative cardio exercises so you can still enjoy the class experience.
Gixo workouts are best performed outdoors in an open space with plenty of room for the cardio and strength training segments; however, the workouts can be comfortably performed indoors on a rainy day as well.
